I had such a wonderful time performing in the International Handel Singing Competition Final last weekend. Thank you for all the lovely messages I’ve received and to those who came to support me on the night. Ariodante. What a role. I miss it already. I’m so lucky to have worked with the best team imaginable, and really hope I get to revisit it again one day. “Ariodante tends to steal this particular show and with her silvery, shaded mezzo and poetic phrasing no one will have begrudged Angharad Rowlands her ovation.
