Arcangelo’s first performance of the St Matthew Passion in September 2021 at the BBC Proms was the first to be presented to the UK public in ‘normal’ conditions post-pandemic. In the words of one reviewer, “This evening was a special gift. Gripped, touched and delighted, the audience understood it.”

Four years on, Arcangelo proudly take our interpretation of Bach’s monumental Gospel tragedy on tour to some of Europe’s leading concert halls, proceeding in step with the Passiontide narrative through concerts on Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday.
